Hamilton Hospitals Assessment Centre

Hamilton Hospitals Assessment Centre (HHAC) provides independent health care services for people who have sustained injuries in motor vehicle or work-related accidents. They also provide services for people with brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.

The new Regional Rehabilitation Centre to be developed at the Hamilton General Hospital is an ambitious $35 million initiative. For patients who require rehabilitation, the road to recovery is not an easy one, and it is often paved with a lot of hard work. With the support of HHAC, patients will receive their rehabilitation in a state-of-the-art facility that will incorporate gardens and transition apartments for practicing daily living skills, and indoor and outdoor exercise areas such as a pool and a wheeling track.
