The WB Family Foundation

Based at the Hamilton General Hospital, the Cardiac & Vascular Program at Hamilton Health Sciences serves patients from throughout the province.

Thanks to a generous donation from the WB Family Foundation, a Chair in Vascular Surgery, held in co-operation with the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, will be created to provide a long-term source of funding to help retain the best and brightest specialists in vascular surgery. Dr. Jacques Tittley, Head of Vascular Surgery, has been awarded the inaugural chair.

A Traveling Fellowship will also be granted, for surgeons to take advanced vascular surgical specialty training. Together, the Beamish Family Chair in Vascular Surgery and the Traveling Fellowship will further establish Hamilton Health Sciences as an internationally recognized leader in cardiac and vascular medicine and research.
