The Rehabilitation Program at Hamilton Health Sciences is dedicated to treating the mind, body and spirit for patients in need of rehabilitation as a result of an accident or medical condition.

The new Regional Rehabilitation Centre, located at the Hamilton General Hospital, will bring together this program currently dispersed among 14 buildings on 4 hospital sites. It will eliminate the duplication of services and provide essential 24-hour acute care support in a purpose-built physical environment that is fully accessible to rehabilitation patients.

Thanks to a generous gift from The Frank Cowan Foundation, the Peer Support Area of the Ambulatory Care Centre in the new facility will provide resources for patients and families to access information related to their rehabilitation journey.
