People who have breast cancer need immediate access to comprehensive cancer care services as close to home as possible. As part of the Cornerstone of Care Campaign for the redevelopment of Hamilton Health Sciences, the Henderson General Hospital will undergo major redevelopment, renovation and expansion, so that we can meet the needs of the growing number of cancer patients in our region.

Thanks to the generous support of CIBC, the Breast Assessment Centre at the Henderson General Hospital offers rapid diagnosis and treatment so that progress of the disease can be slowed or stopped, with a minimum of fear, discomfort and stress to our patients.

The CIBC Breast Assessment Centre will provide comprehensive breast cancer services in a comfortable, supportive environment where innovation and compassion will continue to advance care for our community. The program will bring together expert clinicians and researchers in breast health so that we can offer our patients choices in prevention, treatment and after care.
