The new Dofasco Heart Investigation Unit is a shining example of what the Cornerstone of Care Campaign for the redevelopment of Hamilton Health Sciences is all about - improving health care for all the residents of our region. Now one of the most sophisticated cardiology centres in the country, the Hamilton General Hospital is recognized as a leader in the field of cardiac care.

Through the generosity of Siemens, the Family Quiet Room in the Dofasco Heart Investigation Unit offers a private place to unwind for family and friends who are visiting a loved one.

Thanks to this generous donation, we are making something great even greater. In partnership with the Government of Ontario, the Cornerstone of Care Campaign will make an investment of more than $300 million that will result in modern clinical and research environments and new medical technology to serve the health care needs of everyone in our region.
